Al-Sheikh Abdul Salam Rostami bin Maulana Abdul Rauf bin Maulana Qudratullah bin Maulana Syed Muhammad Shah. He was born in 1354 A.H. Ramadan 1936 in Korstam district Mardan area Sadhom. His grandfather Amjad Pashin came here from Balochistan province. In 1952, he read the Qur'an commentary from Maulana Ghulamullah Khan in Darul Uloom Taqeem Al-Qur'an, Rawalpindi. In Shaban and Ramadan 1957, he started teaching Tafsir Qur'an from the Thana Masjid of his village Rustam. In 1959, he read Tafsir al-Qur'an from Shaykh-ul-Qur'an Maulana Muhammad Tahir Panj Piri and after that he joined Jama'at Isha'at-Tawheed wal-Sunnah. Among his teachers were Maulana Ghulamullah Khan Rawalpindi, Maulana Na Muhammad Tahir Panj Peri, Maulana Na Abdul Hadi Shah Mansoori aka Ko Ka Maulvi Sahib, Maulana Mian Gul Jan (Gariala Mardan), Maulana Na Abdul Razaq bin Muhammad Nauman Udinavi, Maulana Na Abdul Rab (Shahbaz). Garhi), Moula Na Muhibullah Gabrali (Swat), Moula Na Abdul Rahman Behbodi and Moula Na Abdul Shakur Behbodi (Fazleen Saharanpur) are included. After the death of Moula Na Ghulamullah Khan in 1982, he visited Darul Uloom Shaqimat al-Qur’an Raja Bazar (Rawalpindi). He taught. After the death of his Sheikh Maula Na Muhammad Tahir Panj Peiri, some differences arose from the same Jamaat. Resentment increased, so he founded an organization called Jamiat Taybaat Al-Tawheed Wal-Sunnah Ali Minhaj Al-Salaf Al-Saliheen in 1993 and appointed him as its Amir. Then he established a sub-organization of students called "Talaba-e-Sha'at Ali Minhaj Al-Salaf" and he wrote several books, among which the following books are more famous: Tafsir Ahsan Al-Kalam Al-Musu'a Al-Qur'aniyah Al-Fareed al-Rabbaniyyah and Al-Fawa'id Al-Qur'aniyah ), Al-Tabyan fi Tafsir Umm al-Qur’an, Lataif Al-Qur’an in Tafsir Umm Al-Qur’an, Enlightening the Mind, Introduction to Al-Tabyan in the Principles of Tafsir Al-Qur’an, Al-Dar al-Nazumamat in linking surahs and verses, Guiding the viewers to the purposes of the Book of Al-Mubin, Guides to the Qur’an, Al-Qur’anic Sermons in the Principles of Faith, Badr al-Salah in Excerpts of Ahadith al-Mishkuwat, from denial of hadith to denial of the Qur’an, Tahfat al-Sajin, Monzad hadith of Randa, Saham al-Sayad on the hearts of al-Hasad, Seerah Izm min fitna socialism, Ahsan al-Nadi lor Dalmudoudi, Ahsan al-Nadi fi al-Rada al-Ali min antaqd al-Nabi wal Sahabi, Makhamsat fi Lataif surah. "Examples of the Qur'an" was compiled. Mufti Abu Saeed, Mullah Na Abdul Basir, Mullah Na Abdul Sabbour, Zakaria and Abdul Basit are his sons. He was bedridden for the last few years and died on Tuesday 17 October 2014 = 24 Muharram 1436 AH.
